• Children of the Valley's Sedro-Woolley program to have permanent site (tri-cityherald.com) — Sedro-Woolley families will soon see Children of the Valley's free after-school program move into a permanent home at Central Elementary, funded by a $200,000 PeaceHealth United General grant. Until permits are finished and the portable is ready, the program will keep operating at Evergreen Elementary, continuing academic and social-emotional support for local students in need.
   

• Monday's Prep Roundup: Anacortes volleyball team beats Bellingham (tri-cityherald.com) — Sedro-Woolley tennis players faced a tough road match in Bellingham, where the Cubs were swept 7-0 by the Bayhawks despite several hard-fought performances. Local standouts like Declan Harp and the doubles team of Colby Silvis and Hunter Schnider battled through challenging sets as other Northwest Conference teams, including Anacortes and Burlington-Edison, also posted key results.
