• Rita Clare Requa: A life well lived, a spirit that lit up every room (myedmondsnews.com) — Shoreline is remembering longtime educator Rita Clare Requa, who taught for over 30 years in the Shoreline School District and led the Shoreline Education Association. Her family invites friends, former students, and colleagues to a celebration of her life on September 2 at the Edmonds Waterfront Center, honoring her advocacy, artistry, and deep commitment to local schools and teachers.
