October 24, 2026 (shorelineareanews.com) — Shoreline residents can indulge in the 2026 Shoreline Chocolate Festival on Saturday, October 24, 2026, with all ticket proceeds supporting programs at the Shoreline Senior Center. Seven local chocolatiers will offer tastings and sales, and early-bird $20 tickets are available online or directly from the senior center on 1st Ave NE in Shoreline. 
• Rita Clare Requa: A life well lived, a spirit that lit up every room (myedmondsnews.com) — Shoreline is remembering longtime educator Rita Clare Requa, who taught for over 30 years in the Shoreline School District and led the Shoreline Education Association. Her family invites friends, former students, and colleagues to a celebration of her life on September 2 at the Edmonds Waterfront Center, honoring her advocacy, artistry, and deep commitment to local schools and teachers.
