• Shoreline Rotary partners with South Everett / Mukilteo Rotarians to support girls' home in Mazatlán (shorelineareanews.com) — Shoreline Rotary is teaming up with South Everett/Mukilteo and other nearby clubs to support FloreSer Girls Home in Mazatlán, Mexico, giving vulnerable girls a safer, more hopeful place to grow. Local Rotarians have helped fund a computer lab, counseling, music lessons, and major home improvements, while also traveling down to paint, build, and strengthen relationships in person.

• Pinehurst Station opens in North Seattle, Sound Transit's first infill stop (lynnwoodtimes.com) — Light rail riders from Shoreline gain better regional connections as the new Pinehurst Station opens between Northgate and Shoreline, tightening service gaps on the Link 1 and 2 lines. Trains now arrive every few minutes, improving trips to downtown Seattle, Sea-Tac Airport, and Lynnwood, with federal funding helping accelerate the project years ahead of schedule.
