Here are Pierce Co. food scores for Sep. 28 (thenewstribune.com) — A Spanaway taco truck on Mountain Highway East recently received 50 red points in a Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department inspection, triggering a required reinspection. Inspectors cited unsafe cooling and hot-holding temperatures for meats and other foods, discarding some items on site and coaching staff on safer procedures. Another Pierce County hotel breakfast operation also drew 35 red points for time and temperature issues.
