• DUI suspect appeared unconscious before crashing into embankment near docked Washington state ferries (oregonlive.com) — Emergency crews from Steilacoom and West Pierce rushed to the town’s ferry dock after a speeding boat, allegedly operated by an intoxicated 21-year-old, narrowly missed two ferries and crashed into an embankment. The operator, seen on video appearing unconscious at the helm, survived and was arrested on suspicion of boating under the influence, prompting a seasonal warning against drinking while boating.
