• Locked-out teen tried to enter his house like Santa Claus. It went poorly (thenewstribune.com) — A 13-year-old Steilacoom boy had to be rescued Monday night after getting stuck about 12 to 15 feet down his home’s narrow chimney while trying to get inside after being locked out. West Pierce Fire & Rescue crews carefully dismantled part of the chimney over more than an hour, ultimately freeing him dusty but unharmed.
