• 17-year-old charged with attempted murder in drive-by shootings in Yakima (yakimaherald.com) — A 17-year-old Union Gap resident is being tried as an adult in Yakima County after prosecutors charged him with multiple counts of attempted first-degree murder, assault, and drive-by shooting. Police allege he repeatedly targeted a Yakima home in April, and investigators say video, shell casings, and firearms tied to a family vehicle connect him to the incidents.
