Clark County middle-schoolers excel in Southwest Washington Civics Bee (columbian.com) ā Clark County middle-schoolers, including students from Vancouver-area schools and homeschool programs, recently showcased their civics knowledge at a live competition at Kiggins Theatre. Eleven participants answered questions on U.S. government and law before finalists presented essays. A homeschooled student from Lyle took first place, and the top three now advance to the Washington State Civics Bee Finals in June.
