• Armed man threatens roommate (whidbeynewstimes.com) — Residents near Whidbey Island Station may want to know that a man living in a Zylstra Road home allegedly fired several rifle shots from a doorway and threatened to kill his roommate after a dispute over dogs. Deputies arrested the 39-year-old, who has prior felony convictions, and prosecutors have charged him with felony harassment and unlawful firearm possession.
