KCHD, KCEAA, CAMC Test For Covid-19 At Charleston Facility
All nursing home and long-term care facility testing within the county should be completed by Friday, April 24.

A team from the Kanawha-Charleston Health Department, Kanawha County Emergency Ambulance Authority and Charleston Area Medical Center on Wednesday tested 52 patients and 92 staff of Meadowbrook Acres Nursing Center in Charleston for COVID-19.

Today’s testing is part of KCHD’s effort to help test or retest for COVID-19 in all Kanawha County nursing homes and long-term care facilities. Governor Jim Justice last week issued an executive order that all nursing home residents and staff members be tested or retested for the disease.
All nursing home and long-term care facility testing within the county should be completed by Friday, April 24.
