• Fire reported again Saturday morning at Peoples Cartage warehouse (newsandsentinel.com) — Lubeck volunteer firefighters were among multiple departments called back to the Peoples Cartage warehouse in Parkersburg after the massive early-July fire rekindled Saturday morning. Crews dug into smoldering plastic material to reach trapped heat, while state health officials halted cleanup over possible asbestos and urged anyone with ongoing breathing issues after the original fire to contact their doctor.
