West Virginia flooding puts 6 feet of water in church's sanctuary • Biblical Recorder (brnow.org) — Weston’s New Life Southern Baptist Church took on six feet of water and mud in its sanctuary during this week’s flooding, damaging classrooms, a food trailer, and even pushing the parsonage off its foundation. Several members’ homes were also damaged or destroyed as Lewis and Upshur counties endured the worst flooding in decades. The congregation will temporarily worship at Great Commission Community Church while recovery begins.
