• Lewis County Commission honors late Commissioner Rod Wyman, recognizes National Recovery Month (wdtv.com) — Lewis County commissioners in Weston have officially recognized National Recovery Month by encouraging the county to “go purple” in support of people facing substance use disorders and those in recovery. At the same meeting, they honored late Commissioner Rod Wyman for his years of dedicated service, and announced their next meeting for June 16 at 10 a.m.
   

• Weston City Council passes two ordinances during Monday meeting (wvnews.com) — Weston City Council advanced updates to its sewer-use and business-and-occupation tax ordinances, while also considering new rules on smoking in city parks and chronic nuisance properties. Council shifted funds between city accounts, honored the late Commissioner Rod Wyman with a hospice donation, and agreed to review needed street repairs on Mountain Road and future city election timing.
