The company said in its WARN notice that it will “permanently close all retail locations and wind down operations” following the non-renewal of its agent operating agreement.

Cell.Plus is based in Baraboo and is listed as a U.S. Cellular authorized agent.

The company’s notice was dated April 29 and received by the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development on May 5.

The affected locations and employee counts are:

The largest number of affected workers is in Baraboo, where 13 employees are listed in the notice.

Cell.Plus said employees do not have bumping rights, and the affected workers are not represented by a union.

The company did not provide additional details in the notice beyond the non-renewal of its agent operating agreement.

Wisconsin’s business closing and mass layoff law requires covered employers to give advance notice before certain business closings or layoffs.
