Voters With Disabilities Need Help, Too: Class Teaches How
This class is aimed at helping the elderly, deaf of hard-of-hearing, blind, homeless or others who might have challenges voting.

WISCONSIN — Wisconsin's next big election is the Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2018 partisan primary in advance of the November general election. People living with disabilities may find it tougher than normal to gain access to their polling place or registering to vote.
To help ensure those living with disabilities have an equal chance to get to the polls to cast their ballot, public officials in Wisconsin are hosting a free online class on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Sara Linski, WisVote Elections Specialist, and Jennifer Haar, City of Madison Clerk's Office, will host an online forum to help people learn about the voting options available to individuals with disabilities who want to vote, whether it is voting prior to Election Day or voting on Election Day at the polls.
