1. Langlade County offers free electronic disposal event (gazettextra.com) — Antigo residents can drop off old electronics for free at the Langlade County Fairgrounds on June 18 from noon to 4 p.m. The annual event aims to keep hazardous materials like lead and mercury out of landfills, with drive-through traffic routed via the pit entrance to avoid backups on Highway 45. 
2. Jennifer Ann Schlundt (antigotimes.com) — Antigo is mourning the loss of 63-year-old Jennifer Ann Schlundt, a devoted community volunteer, business owner, and Antigo High School alum who passed away May 30 after battling brain cancer. Her life’s work ranged from running local businesses to leading countless fundraisers, all while raising five children and quietly supporting neighbors and organizations in need.
3. REGI helps rehabilitate and educate on native bird species in Wisconsin (wjfw.com) — Antigo’s Raptor Education Group, Inc. is busy rehabilitating 800–1,000 injured and sick birds each year while also teaching residents about Wisconsin’s native species. From summer camps to traveling “Winged Wonders” programs and on-site visits, REGI offers hands-on ways for locals to see raptors up close and support wildlife conservation through donations and symbolic bird adoptions.
4. Boys Golf: Vikings Ninth at Division 3 Sectional (doorcountypulse.com) — A WIAA Division 3 boys golf sectional was held Tuesday at Bass Lake Golf Club just north of Antigo, drawing teams from around the region. Gibraltar finished ninth with a 377 and no state qualifiers, while Three Lakes/Phelps and Mishicot advanced to next week’s state meet in Madison alongside three individual qualifiers.
