• Off-highway vehicle trails opened Monday (gazettextra.com) — Langlade County’s off-highway motor vehicle trails near Elton are now open for the 2026 season, with permits available at the county Forestry, Parks and Recreation office on Neva Road in Antigo. Off-road truck and Jeep drivers need both an annual vehicle permit and an operator permit, and can also buy passes at the Elton Mall or Nine Mile All Sports Resort.

• Red Robin JVs fall to Mustangs in extra-innings thriller (gazettextra.com) — Antigo fans saw a wild extra-innings JV baseball showdown as the Red Robins racked up 14 hits but ultimately fell 12-9 to Little Chute. Bentley Knutson led Antigo’s offense with three hits and two doubles, while late-inning rallies and a solo homer kept the home crowd engaged right to the final out.
