Students are being offered main-campus tuition matches through spring 2027 and housing stipends, but many describe grief, uncertainty, and frustration as they scramble to transfer or change plans.

ā¢ Wisconsin Electronics Retailer To Close All Stores Across The State (patch.com) ā Baraboo-based Cell.Plus, a U.S. Cellular authorized agent, is shutting down all of its Wisconsin retail stores this summer, including the Baraboo location where 13 employees will lose their jobs. In total, 66 workers across multiple towns will be affected as the company winds down after its agent agreement wasnāt renewed. Ā Ā Ā
ā¢ Officials identify suspect, victim in Sauk County homicide (fox47.com) ā Baraboo residents are learning more about a deadly shooting that left 80-year-old Susan Paul dead and led to the arrest of an 80-year-old Prairie du Sac man, according to Sauk County authorities. Witnesses reported the woman was pulled from a vehicle and shot multiple times before the suspect allegedly drove toward Baraboo and later fired into the Sauk Prairie Police Department building, where no one was injured.
