While no human cases are reported yet, residents—especially older adults and those with weaker immune systems—are encouraged to protect against mosquito bites during outdoor summer activities.

• 7-15-26 trump administration denies wisconsin disaster relief (radioplusinfo.com) — Bayfield County is among several Wisconsin counties denied federal public assistance by the Trump administration after April’s storms and flooding, despite more than $20 million in validated damage statewide.
