• Homeowner organization sues Village of Big Bend over athletic complex project approval (biztimes.com subscription) — Residents’ group Three Villages Association has sued the Village of Big Bend, arguing officials improperly approved the first phase of a $175 million youth sports complex on 150 acres near Highway 164 and Town Line Road. The lawsuit claims the village granted a conditional use permit without enough evidence on stormwater, traffic, lighting, noise, utilities, and property values, and demands the project follow existing ordinances.
