Area Twirlers win County Titles

Two area twirlers won their respective titles at the 54th Daley Debutantes Fall Festival competition this past weekend. Madelyn Schnier of Muskego won the Preteen Miss Waukesha County Majorette title and Taryn Tom of Brookfield defended her Junior Miss Waukesha County Majorette title. Madelyn won the caption titles in the model, strut and twirl portion. Taryn won the caption titles of model and twirl in her division. Leah Pollen of New Berlin won the Junior Waukesha Strut portion of the contest and was 1st runner up in the Junior Miss Waukesha County Majorette. Leah's sister, Haley won the Junior Color Guard Solo and Junior Rifle Solo as well at this contest.

Madelyn, Leah, and Haley are members of the Daley Debutantes Corps.

Taryn is a member of the West Allis Diamond Twirlers as well as an Assistant Coach for the organization.

Daley Debutantes Fall Festival is an annual competition in the area. For the last 54 years the competition has been held in the Milwaukee area. They award Milwaukee County, Waukesha County and At Large County Majorette titles as well as caption awards in those counties. The contest has competitors from around Wisconsin and Illinois this past weekend competing in teams, solo, and duet events.
