Brookfield Chamber of Commerce launches new app

The Greater Brookfield Chamber of Commerce launched a custom app June 15 to drive business growth and fuel B2B relationships in the area. The “MoreForYou” app, Wisconsin’s first regional chamber app, focuses on promoting chamber businesses; the app will help chamber member businesses engage with customers more interactively. Whether a business is targeting the end-use consumer or selling to another business, this app is designed for both – it has a consumer component and a B2B component.

Carol White, president & CEO of GBCC said, “Promotions through the app will provide a convenient option to increase regional brand awareness. All businesses in the app and their ads, prices, and locations will be fully searchable. Additionally, in-app advertising, as part of the overall app experience, is less obtrusive and more effective than standard banner advertisements. Smartphone technology makes it easier to target ads to the right consumers. These promotions will reach local consumers as they increasingly favor apps over web and mobile browsers.”

“An app that places local businesses at the touch of the consumer will be a key driver for attracting new business for our members,” continued White.

The app release is timed to coincide with GBCC’s 34th Annual Golf Outing on June 15 at Ironwood Golf Course in Sussex, and will enhance guests’ experience that day. “MoreForYou” was developed by chamber member MS Mobile, Brookfield.
