The Elmbrook Education Foundation (EEF) announces the 2nd annual Thank You Thursday, in partnership with The Corners of Brookfield, to recognize the extraordinary efforts of our School District of Elmbrook staff.

Danielle Leitner Baxter, Elmbrook Education Foundation (EEF) Board Member and Staff Appreciation Chair said, "The EEF, in partnership with The Corners of Brookfield, is honored to recognize our extraordinary Elmbrook staff. We thank them for their kindness, passion, flexibility, and determination this year. We are grateful to have such a committed team working with our kids! This campaign is an easy but meaningful way to let the staff know they are appreciated.”

The EEF encourages Elmbrook families, students, staff, alumni, and community members to show your appreciation for the District of Elmbrook staff. In 2021, the EEF received almost 1,000 thank you nominations. From Jan. 27 through Feb. 3, use our Google form to nominate an outstanding staff member: https://tinyurl.com/TYT22. Each Thursday from Feb. 10 through March 17, the EEF, in partnership with The Corners of Brookfield, will randomly select (10) nominees and award them a $25 The Corners of Brookfield gift card. Weekly winners will be featured on The Corners of Brookfield marquees on Bluemound Road and I-94. The staff member with the most nominations will win a $250 shopping spree at The Corners of Brookfield.

“The Corners is grateful to be a part of Thank You Thursday for the second year in a row,” said Chelsea Roessler, Director of Marketing at The Corners. “The faculty at Elmbrook School District are incredible, and we love being part of an initiative that helps showcase it.”

The Elmbrook Education Foundation (EEF) was organized in 1958 to award scholarships to select Brookfield High School graduates. In 1999, the Foundation's mission expanded to include teacher grants for innovative projects that benefit all students. The EEF raises money to support and strengthen outstanding learning ideas that improve the overall educational quality of our public schools. To date, the EEF has awarded over $1,400,000 in scholarships and over $500,000 in grants which have enhanced and extended the established curriculum and support projects that are beyond the district’s budget.
