Elmbrook Education Foundation (EEF) Grant Application

The Elmbrook Education Foundation (EEF) Grant applications will open on February 1, 2022. Grants are open to all Elmbrook parents, students and staff. The EEF will award up to $15,000 in 2022.

“The Irish playwright, George Bernard Shaw once said, ‘Don’t wait for the right opportunity: create it.’, said Elizabeth Simpson, EEF Board Member and Grants Chair. “We, at the Elmbrook Education Foundation, want to help you create whatever “it” is to enhance your classroom and school to ensure the best learning opportunities for Elmbrook students! Thank you for all that you do for the students in the Elmbrook School District.”

The grant application will go live at https://www.elmbrookschools.org/elmbrook-education-foundation/grants/grant-application beginning Tuesday, February 1st and will close at 5pm on Sunday, February 27th. Applications must support the Mission and Vision statements of the Elmbrook School District, promote innovation, educational excellence and/or creativity, impact a significant number of students and/or staff, provide direct impact to students’ education, establish long term benefit to the school district and exhibit the potential to be implemented district-wide.

The Elmbrook Education Foundation (EEF) was organized in 1958 to award scholarships to select Brookfield High School graduates. In 1999, the Foundation's mission expanded to include teacher grants for innovative projects that benefit all students. The EEF raises money to support and strengthen outstanding learning ideas that improve the overall educational quality of our public schools. To date, the EEF has awarded over $1,400,000 in scholarships and over $500,000 in grants which have enhanced and extended the established curriculum and supported projects that are beyond the district’s budget.
