Local Ameriprise Financial Office Hosts April 19 Seminar on Maximizing Social Security Benefits

Brookfield, Wis. – April 11, 2016 – With several key changes to Social Security implemented this year, the local branch office of Ameriprise Financial will host a seminar on maximizing Social Security benefits April 19, 2016, from 5 to 7 p.m.

The seminar will explain the role Social Security plays in retirement, how benefits are calculated and distributed, eligibility requirements, and recent changes in the “file and suspend” strategy involving spousal benefits. The event will include guest speaker Keith Matthews, CRPC®, CRPS®, a Regional Vice-President with Ameriprise Financial.
