Jan's lifetime of service (tmj4.com) — A longtime pastor who once served at Brown Deer United Church of Christ is being recognized for decades of advocacy in inclusive ministry, girls’ athletics, and veterans’ support across Wisconsin. Now based in Germantown, she helped expand LGBTQ-affirming churches statewide and built Milwaukee Public Schools’ girls sports programs, while continuing to assist homeless veterans with essential household items.
