• Fox Crossing replaces damaged fire engine, buys from another community (fox11online.com) — Butler residents might be interested to know the village just sold a lightly used 2014 fire engine to Fox Crossing, helping that community recover from tornado damage. The truck, bought for $285,000 from Butler’s equipment stock, will temporarily bolster Fox Crossing’s fleet while its damaged engines are repaired or replaced, and could later be resold or kept depending on future needs.
