• Microsoft forgoes $5 million; Mount Pleasant to reinvest funds (bnd.com) — Microsoft is letting Mount Pleasant keep a $5 million development incentive, money village leaders say will help stabilize future tax bills and fund roads and public safety equipment. The move comes as Microsoft faces pushback on data centers nationwide, including dropping a proposed Caledonia facility last year.
