• Forest County Sheriff's Office welcomes new K9 addition to the team (wjfw.com) — Crandon-area residents now have added protection at all hours with new K9 Shadow joining the Forest County Sheriff’s Office, covering the night shift alongside Deputy Aaron Enders. The 17‑month‑old dog is trained in narcotics detection, suspect tracking, and handler protection, and has already assisted on a case. Community support and the Friends of Forest County K9 Unit helped bring Shadow to the team.
