• Hoffman leads ‘long-overdue' refresh at Syble Hopp School (thebusinessnews.com) — Renovations are underway this summer at De Pere’s Syble Hopp School, modernizing its oldest 1971 wing with fully rebuilt accessible restrooms, new cabinetry, lockers, and upgraded security at the main entrance. The work is the first phase of a broader master plan to improve classrooms, building systems, and long-term functionality for students with disabilities from seven Brown County districts. 
• Exceptional Equestrians' new De Pere site to serve more people with developmental challenges (wtaq.com) — A new Exceptional Equestrians facility is under construction on Orlando Drive in De Pere, promising to eliminate the nonprofit’s long waitlist for equine-assisted therapy. The 16,850-square-foot arena will expand medically based sessions for veterans and people with developmental or physical challenges across Northeast Wisconsin, with completion expected this fall thanks to strong donor support.
• HSGT: Preble, Kimberly and FVL win sectional semifinal games (fox11online.com) — West De Pere’s softball team saw its season end Tuesday with a 12-2 sectional semifinal loss to conference rival Green Bay Preble, which advances to face Stevens Point. Kimberly and Fox Valley Lutheran also moved on in their respective sectional brackets, keeping several Northeast Wisconsin teams in the hunt for state berths.
