• DSPS distributes more than $38 million to Wisconsin fire departments (gopresstimes.com) — De Pere’s fire department is receiving about $164,700 from Wisconsin’s 2% Fire Dues Program, part of more than $38 million distributed statewide to support equipment, training, inspections and firefighter pensions. Local departments across Brown County, including Lawrence, Ledgeview and Green Bay, also benefit from this annual insurance-funded safety investment.
