• Windsor Breads closed indefinitely after fire (gazettextra.com) — Windsor Breads, a popular nearby bakery served by the DeForest-Windsor Fire & EMS Department, is closed indefinitely after a basement fire linked to a dehumidifier left the building covered in soot. Owner Anthony Schnell plans to relocate temporarily to Windsor’s DMB Neighborhood Center during renovations and says strong community support and quick work by local firefighters are helping them prepare to reopen.
