1. 2026 Tuesday Night Blues Returns to Owen Park (weau.com) — Free Tuesday Night Blues concerts are back at Eau Claire’s Owen Park Bandshell, running every Tuesday evening from Memorial Day through Labor Day with food trucks and a family-friendly vibe. Shows move indoors to The 410 Club in downtown Eau Claire if it rains, and organizers encourage residents to bring chairs or blankets and check the website for weekly band lineups and weather updates.

2. Eau Claire City Council approves downtown parking delay, land purchase agreement (gazettextra.com) — Eau Claire City Council has pushed the start of downtown paid street parking from June 1 to August 1, with a grace period into early September to focus on education over tickets. City leaders say kiosk delivery delays and business concerns drove the change, while ARPA funds will cover short-term costs. Council also approved buying 22 acres near Highway 12 for future brush, storage, and municipal service uses.

Chippewa Valley Tool Library holds ribbon cutting, opening its doors Friday (weau.com) — A new Chippewa Valley Tool Library is opening in Eau Claire this Friday, offering residents memberships that include tool lending, workshop access, and discounted classes. After a ribbon cutting on Tuesday, organizers say people can either borrow tools or use them on-site, with classes added based on community demand.
