• Beloit Memorial baseball team gets shutout from Michael Nora, Ayden Marshall (gazettextra.com) — Elkhorn High School’s baseball team was shut out 2-0 at home by Beloit Memorial in a WIAA Division 1 regional opener, ending the Elks’ postseason run. Despite 13 strikeouts from pitcher Carson Lysaght, a sixth-inning Beloit rally and a misplayed ball in left field proved costly for Elkhorn’s 14-9 season.
