• Fox Crossing replaces damaged fire engine, buys from another community (fox11online.com) — Fox Crossing’s fire department has added a recently purchased 2014 fire engine from the Village of Butler, helping replace vehicles damaged when a July tornado struck Fire Station 41. While insurance decisions are still pending on two engines and a rescue truck, loaned vehicles and this purchase are keeping local fire protection running as crews work from a temporary village facility.
