Free Showing of "Elsa and Fred"
At 1 p.m., May 27, there will be a free showing of "Elsa and Fred," Glendale Senior Citizens' Clubroom, 2600 W. Mill Road.
The 2014 comedy-drama “Elsa and Fred” will be shown in the Glendale Senior Citizens’ Clubroom, 2600 W. Mill Road, at 1 p.m., Wednesday, May 27. Set in New Orleans, the movie focuses on a cranky widower played by Christopher Plummer who finds new reasons for hope when he meets and spends time with an older neighbor (Shirley MacLaine) who is full of life. Marcia Gay Harden, Chris Noth, Scott Bakula, George Segal, and James Brolin are also featured. Nonmembers are always welcome at club events. Free.
