Free Showing of "Love and Mercy" at 1 p.m., January 27, 2600 W. Mill Road, Glendale

See a film about the Beach Boys' Brian Wilson in the clubroom on the lower level of Glen Hills Middle School.

The film “Love and Mercy” will be shown at 1 p.m., Wednesday, January 27, in the Glendale Senior Citizens’ Clubroom on the lower level of Glen Hills Middle School, 2600 W. Mill Road, Glendale. The movie presents the life of the Beach Boys’ Brian Wilson in the 1960s (played by Paul Dano) and the 1980s (John Cusick). The film intimately examines the personal voyage and ultimate salvation of this icon. Elizabeth Banks and Paul Giamatti are also featured. Nonmembers are always welcome at club events.
