Explore the history, movement, rhythms and rich musical textures of this beautiful, oft misunderstood art form, from the subtle sexiness of Egypt’s classical Raqs Sharqi to the earthy, fiery passion of Turkey’s Roma Dance, and various points in between. Please dress in comfortable athletic/workout attire. Hip scarves (coined or not) are encouraged. Street shoes and skirts are not recommended.
