Nicolet Rec. Dept. Offering Restorative Yoga Workshop

Ideal for those needing some pampering and a recharge of mind/body.

Ideal for those needing some pampering and a recharge of mind/body. Open to all levels who need a very chill yoga experience, mostly floor postures.

Enjoy an evening of gentle, restorative yin yoga (and be pampered) - combining supported posture, breath and guided meditation - with an extended savasana (relaxation and meditation) finale. Learn postures and techniques to reduce stress and recharge – through a short series of long-hold supported floor postures designed for your body to release deep tension and to more deeply relax. When you slow your yoga practice down it becomes a practice of exploring what your body needs and how your body feels - meeting it’s walls and hopefully breaking them down. This class will mindfully guide you into stillness and will leave you feeling rejuvenated and balanced. Open to all levels who need a very chill and pampered yoga experience!

Important Note: Must be able to be on floor much of the time. Mats and props will be available in limited supply. You are encouraged to bring along your own yoga mat, light blanket, pillow and water.
