Nicolet Rec. Dept. Offering Therapeutic Yoga
This new Therapeutic Yoga is a particularly effective yoga approach for those recovering from, or living with, injury or illness.

This new Therapeutic Yoga is a particularly effective yoga approach for those recovering from, or living with, injury or illness. This class blends restorative prop-assisted yoga including use of chairs, gentle flow yoga, breathwork, hands-on healing and personal adjustment, as well as guided meditation techniques – all combined for those who need something gentle yet effective for bringing the body into balance while reducing stress. The intention of this yoga class is to help build a stronger sense of balance, body awareness, better circulation and ease of movement - leaving participants feeling more relaxed and peaceful as they journey through life.
Notes for Class: Yoga mats are available in class or you can bring your own. Wear comfortable, stretchy clothes and shoes are removed for class. It’s always a good idea to consult your doctor before starting a new exercise routine including yoga and it should never replace regular medical care. Props will be provided.
