VIDEO: Milwaukee Children's Choir Serenades Bayshore Shoppers
The Milwaukee Children's Choir performed their fourth annual Valentine's Sing-A-Thon Saturday.
Students ages 4-18 sang in the Milwaukee Children's Choir's Valentine's Sing-A-Thon SaturdayΒ in the rotundaΒ ofΒ Bayshore Town Center.
Amid their varied repertoire, the kids delivered singing valentines to raise money for the choir, which accepts students from throughout southeastern Wisconsin.
Bayside resident Leena Jaiswal, a student at Indian Hill, joined the group after her choir teacher recommended it.

"She had potential; she had a pretty good voice," Leena's mom Angela Jaiswal said. "I followed up on her recommendation and got her involved with the choir ... I'm really proud of what she does."
Students younger than fourth grade can join the choir without an audition, and students entering grades 4-12 audition to be placed in the proper choir. More information is on the MilwaukeeΒ Children's ChoirΒ website.

The choir's next performance will be with the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra at the Elmbrook Church Auditorium, at 3 p.m. March 11.
