ā¢ Stags Tavern in Germantown declared total loss after fire (jsonline.com) ā Stags Tavern on Fond du Lac Avenue in Germantown has been declared a total loss and is closed until further notice after a fire destroyed the building Tuesday, Aug. 4. The Germantown Fire Department confirmed the extensive damage Wednesday morning as investigators continue assessing the scene and the community absorbs the loss of a longtime local gathering spot.
