• Grafton residents want solutions as Highway 60 traffic grows; here's what's behind the congestion (tmj4.com) — Heavy traffic at Highway 60 and 12th Avenue is increasingly clogging Grafton’s main east-west route, with backups stretching up to a mile during afternoon rush hour. Police report more than 1.5 million vehicle passes last month, driven by population growth, construction traffic and a natural bottleneck at the Milwaukee River bridge. Residents are rerouting their daily drives and worry new housing along Highway 60 will lock in long-term congestion.
