⢠OCFD blood transfusion program goes live (gmtoday.com) ā Grafton-based Ozaukee Central Fire Department has begun carrying blood on its ambulances, allowing paramedics to perform lifesaving transfusions before patients reach the hospital. Supported by a strong local blood drive, the program makes OCFD the first in Ozaukee County with this advanced trauma care capability, potentially improving survival for residents facing severe bleeding emergencies.
