• Packers Continue Crazy 20-Year Streak In Week 2 (patch.com) — Green Bay fans just saw the Packers extend an impressive 20-year streak of avoiding 0-2 season starts, thanks to a dramatic 20-17 overtime win against the New York Jets. After trailing 17-7 in the fourth quarter, the team rallied and sealed the comeback with Trey Smack's 26-yard field goal, setting up a Thursday night home opener against the Atlanta Falcons.
   

• Police searching for man who fled pursuit in Green Bay (nbc26.com) — Police are still searching in Green Bay for 20-year-old Jayveionn Williams, who fled a traffic stop Sunday afternoon on the city's east side after a brief vehicle pursuit near University Avenue and Henry Street. Authorities say he has a violent history, is considered dangerous, and previously prompted a temporary shelter-in-place. Residents are urged not to approach him and to call Green Bay police with any information.
