Green Bay, Wis.—Campus Pride chose 30 schools this year for the 2021 Best of the Best LGBTQ-Friendly Colleges & Universities List. The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay is once again among the top. This list is based on overall ratings on the Campus Pride Index and specific LGBTQ-inclusive benchmark measures. In order to be in the “Best of the Best” listing, an institution had to score the highest percentages in the LGBTQ-friendly benchmarks for policies, programs and practices. According to UW-Green Bay’s Interim Assistant Vice Chancellor of Inclusive Excellence Stacie Christian, UW-Green Bay has made the list since 2014. “This is a campus effort, and not just the effort from the Pride Center,” Christian said.
