Courtney Sherman has been named UW-Green Bay's interim associate provost.

Courtney Sherman has been named UW-Green Bay’s interim associate provost. An announcement in May by Provost Kate Burns noted that Sherman has demonstrated strong leadership in a variety of ways, including as chair of Music and chair of the University Committee.

“Courtney brings a deep commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion, and is co-chairing the subcommittee on student and community programming for the Council for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion,” Burns wrote. “Her recent experience on the Comprehensive Program Review committee will facilitate our ability to prioritize and implement the recommendations of this committee. Courtney will begin the position on May 24, 2021 to allow for some cross-over with Clif Ganyard, and will remain in the position until a permanent Associate Provost is in place.”
