UW-Green Bay Electrical Engineering  Associate Professor and Chair of Computer Science, Maruf Hossain has co-authored two papers entitled “Accurate Estimation of Phase Angle for Three-Phase Systems in Presence of Unbalances and Distortions” and “A Simple Structure for Accurate Estimation of Single-Phase Grid Frequency under DC Offset and Both Odd and Even Harmonics,” which have been accepted for publication in the reputed Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, and IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics Journals, respectively.

The authors are grateful to Dean John Katers (College of Science, Engineering, and Technology) for his continuous support in setting up the experimental labs used to conduct both papers’ experiments.
