University Of Wisconsin - Green Bay: Professors Ortiz And Shelton Are Both Appointed To The Equal Rights Commission

Prof. Cristina Ortiz (Humanities) and Associate Prof. Jon Shelton (Democracy and Justice Studies) have both been appointed to the first-ever Green Bay Equal Rights Commission. The Commission had its first meeting last week and Shelton was elected vice-chair. They will work to bring voices of diversity, equity, and inclusion to the Commission. UW-Green Bay alumni, Alder Veronica Corpus-Dax and Marcus Grignon (Democracy and Justice Studies) also serve on the commission.
