Deborah Olguin Named New Library Director in Greendale

Olguin joins the Greendale Public Library from the Milwaukee Public Library, where she has worked recently as a branch manager.

GREENDALE -- The Greendale Public Library Board announced today that Deborah Olguin has been named Library Director for the Greendale Public Library, 5647 Broad Street, Greendale.

Olguin will begin in this role on July 11, 2016.

Olguin joins the Greendale Public Library from the Milwaukee Public Library, where she has worked recently as branch manager at two of its libraries.

She has extensive public library experience and has held positions in child services, adult services, and library management.

“We are pleased to welcome Debbie to Greendale,” said Marty Lubing, spokesperson for the Greendale Public Library Board. “She is an energetic and enthusiastic public library advocate and will be an important asset in leading the work of the Greendale Public

Library and the Greendale Community Learning Center in the coming months and years.”


The Greendale Public Library provides high quality, publicly funded library resources, services and information to all residents of Greendale and the metropolitan area. It is an important component of the Greendale Community Learning Center (CLC), an umbrella entity which includes the Greendale Health Department, Park and Recreation
Department, and the Public Library.
