The Library will be host to Wisconsin Regional Art Program (WRAP) on September 10th.Β Participants can include anyone over the age of 16 who considers themselves a non-professional artist.Β Entries are due by Saturday, July 23rd, for an entry form, please click here. Each artist may submit up to three pieces for display and they are to be delivered to the Library between Monday, July 25th through Saturday, July 30th.
The WRAP Workshop will be held on Saturday, September 10. On the day of the workshop, jewelry artist and author of the book Steel Wire Jewelry", Brenda Schweder will present a program called "One Artist's Squiggly Wiggly Yellow Brick Road to her Right 'Oz.'"
After a lunch break (on your own), the juror, Chad Lindemann from Wisconsin Lutheran Collegeβs art department, will lead a discussion/critique on one piece by each participant emphasizing its strengths and areas needing improvement.Β At the conclusion, Lindemann will reveal the Honorable Mention and State Exhibit winners.Β The winners are eligible to be a part of the state exhibit in Madison. The events of the September 10th are open to those not participating in the art judging for a $5 fee.
