Area Schools - Education Day - 9:00am to 2:30pm
General Public - 4:00pm - Midnight

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 10
Noon - Midnight

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 11
Prayer Ceremony - 10:00am, Mid Gate Open from 9:30am to 10:00amΒ  (Free Entry with School Supplies)

General Public - 11:00am - 8:00pm

This year, the festival is back with a spectacular Festival that will run September 9-11, at the Henry Maier Festival Grounds in Milwaukee. You'll see American Indian entertainers and performers who are nationally known... BRULE IS BACK!Β  And so is Joanne Shenandoah!Β  There willΒ be spectacular fireworks displays Friday and Saturday nights and a CONTEST POW WOW all weekend long. EVERYONE IS WELCOME!Β  In addition, there are some NEW attractions this year including a Native Film Festival, Tribal Farmers Market and a special parade on Sunday to commemorate the 10th anniversary of 9/11.

Festival favorites include: Native American Arts & Crafts: demonstrations and items for purchase; Traditional Villages from Wisconsin Tribes such as Menominee, Oneida and Ojibwe; the ISMA Music Awards featuring top musical talent from all over the country; and so much more!Β  Please check websiteΒ to learn about the new things beiing added to the Indian Summer Festival lineup!
