Midwest Vocal Express Spring Show

The Midwest Vocal Express' upcoming show "THIS is the Moment" is on Saturday May 19th at the Greendale H.S. Performing Arts Center, with our guest quartet Metropolis!   A five-time Barbershop Harmony Society medalist quartet, Metropolis has returned to national television attention during the last few years with appearances on "What's Your Hobby", the pilot episode of the "Fourth Floor Show" on E! Entertainment Television, and a national Dr Pepper commercial.  They have appeared on Diagnosis: Murder in which Dick Van Dyke sang a song with them, and also performed in the independent film "Pacino is Missing".     Metropolis earned the Harmony Sweepstakes' Grand National A Cappella Championship - the first barbershop quartet to do so in the history of the event. Find out more at www.harmonize.com/metropolis.    Seats are only specified by section so it's easy to sit next to your friends.  Prices for the best seats (front rows of the center section) are only $25 per seat.  Close seating is $18 per seat and budget-priced tickets are a mere $12.  Groups of eight or more ordering at one time receive a discount as do our "seasoned" citizens.  Students may receive a free budget priced ticket the day of the show when they present their valid school ID card (details at www.mve.org).   The 50 man Midwest Vocal Express is a male a cappella chorus with members from Southeast Wisconsin and Northern Illinois based in Greendale WI, the barbershop capital of the Midwest.  The MVE is known locally for "Storytelling through Song" performing show tunes, spirituals, pop music, and barbershop favorites, and for their groundbreaking performances on the Barbershop Harmony Society's international competition stage.    Join us for this family-friendly event!  Plan to be at 6801 Southway, Greendale WI 53129 on May 19th!
