This yearβs 4th of July celebration will again include the best parade in the area, tasty ice cream,Β delicious food, live music, and colorfulΒ Β Β fireworks.
Visitors to the celebration will find theΒ Lions Club food and beer garden and the corn roastΒ sponsored by the American Legion Post 416. EveryoneΒ can enjoy lively toe-tapping music at the Lions beerΒ Β Β Β garden. And don't miss the fireworks at duskΒ (approximately 9:15 p.m.) on Monday from the areaΒ near the Greendale High School football stadium.Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β
Starting at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, July 4th,Β participants will publicly read the Declaration ofΒ Independence at the flagpole in front of VillageΒ Hall.Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β
The parade will be held on the 4th of July. It willΒ start with the childrenβs parade at 9:45 a.m. withΒ the remainder of the parade starting at 10:00 a.m.Β Β Due to construction in the Southridge area, line-up for this yearβs event will be on the westbound laneΒ of W. Grange Avenue at S. 68th Street. The paradeΒ will then travel to Northway, Northway to BroadΒ Street, Broad Street to the high school. All childrenΒ 10 years of age and under are encouraged to decorateΒ Β Β their bikes (no motorized vehicles allowed) and participate in the childrenβs portion of the parade.Β Β Β Staging for the childrenβs parade will be at 9:00 a.m. in the St. Thomas of Canterbury Church parkingΒ Β Β Β lot.
